Sandy, Mandy, Randy, and Andy

Holiday’s adoptive sisters on the Isle of Plenty in the Port of Cookietown.  They become part of his crew, the Pirates of Cookietown, when he sets sail at 18 to follow in his father’s footsteps.

They are both multi-instrumentalists, commanding the crew band’s rhythm section, playing the bass, drums, guitar and accordion, among other instruments. Mandy and Sandy are hot, sassy and smart. Andy has a prosthetic arm from a childhood accident, and Randy is quick-witted and loose-tongued, ala Elvis.

All can be cryptic yet not extremely critical, and each is kind and compassionate while instilling in Holiday a sense of self and selflessness, and his destiny as the son of a legendary leader. All serve as Holiday’s conscience and keep him well-grounded even when they’re at sea.  Andy’s physical challenges have been surmounted not with a pirate-like hook, but with a cutting-edge, bionic, music-making appendage that serves as a performance-adaptable machine for all occasions.
