Oohbeekai
A somewhat-stern, very focused, large-bellied Bohamian fisherman, known for being able to hold his breath underwater for long periods of time, minutes before returning with a bounty of lobsters and fish.
He’s also a great fife player and quite protective of his family, his crew, knows people everywhere, and has friends in every port.
Always attuned to his natural surroundings and the vagaries of ocean currents and inclement weather, Oohbeekai serves as the ship’s wayfinder, a navigator with no instruments, (not even a compass), whose uncanny foresight prevents calamity on countless occasions, and leads the Jonathan Livingston to all preferred ports. He is a man of great belief. “…no worries, no worries, we must stay the course, for this is the true way to paradise.”
