Captain Holiday

Son of the famous Admirable Big, who disappeared overboard in a terrible storm when Holiday was just two years old. Subsequently, Holiday was raised by his mother and runs the family’s aquaponic farming business to support them.

As a child growing up on a small island – The Isle of Plenty -- Holiday constantly heard about his father’s adventures. The Admiral’s crazy crew mentors Holiday through his youth and into adulthood, all the while grooming him to become skipper of his father’s ship.

Now a young man of 6-foot-2, 170 pounds with a strong jaw and sun-kissed brown hair, Holiday assumes his command with relish, re-christens his father’s old shipmates and his brothers and sisters,

“The Pirates of Cookietown,” and sets off on his own adventure. Humble when humbled, strong and cocksure, Holiday is somber at times with the imparted memories of his father, but grows in confidence throughout the story. Proud yet respectful, Holiday stumbles and suffers setbacks, experiences his first true love, and grows to rely on the singular strengths and atypical talents of his crew in ways he never imagined.
