Huge, muscular Hawaiian sousaphone-playing-pirate of incredibly gentle disposition. Happy, positive, smiling all the time, soft-spoken, and as strong as ten men.

Contemplative and philosophical, Armstrong is the heavy-lifting, quiet, can-do character whose personal mantra is, “There is no load too heavy that a man cannot lift.” He is never critical, lauding the less-strenuous tasks of his fellow crewmen, by saying simply, “It takes many stones to build a mountain.”  Great diver, he’s world class high diver, cliff diver!
